Bicol Express

Our father went to Bicol last Maundy Thursday, 17 April 2003. Having nothing to do at home during the Holy Week, Vangie, Angel and I tagged along with him in his van. It took about 10 hours for us to reach Naga City. We visited several churches, the cemetery to visit our grand parents, Polangui, Albay and Lake Buhi in Buhi, Camarines Sur.

Two pictures to the right were taken at the house of the Baylon’s also in Polangui, Albay. The kid in the left is my third cousin, making her mom, who’s beside her, our aunt.

Along Lake Buhi in Buhi, Camarines Sur which reputedly has the smallest commercially harvested fish in the world: the sinarapan.
